About the role.
We don't hire spokespeople. We build them. The member leadership coach turns members into the public faces of their own campaigns: running meetings, talking to press, and leading their neighbors. You design the training, do the coaching, and step back when the member is ready.
Success in this role looks like you being needed less every month.
What you'll do
- Design and run trainings on public speaking, meeting facilitation, and campaign strategy
- Coach individual members into roles as spokespeople, campaign captains, and neighborhood leads
- Build a leadership pipeline so every campaign has members ready to step up
- Prep members for press interviews and public testimony
What you bring
- You've developed leaders before: in organizing, teaching, coaching, or congregational work
- You'd rather see a member give the speech than give it yourself
- You give direct feedback with care
- You live in or can regularly get to Philadelphia
